Equine Assisted Therapy in the Treatment of Anxiety

This workship will explore the use of Equine Assisted Therapy in treating
disorders in the anxiety spectrum (PTSD, Social Anixiety Disorder,
Generalized Anixiety Disorder).  
We will examine the use of horses in therapy as a means of accessing
client strengths related to patience as a tool for self healing,
self-perception, the role of the horse as a non-judgemental
therapy partner, and emphathetic interactions between client and
horse as perceived by the client. |
